I've looked at it a few times and still can't understand how in snapping fluffy ducks did he polish the aspheric besselian surface of the corrector without vacuum deformation?

Awesome wide angle eyepiece - not. Put it in a C14 and you have a 350mm aperture, 12x with a 30mm exit pupil.

Looking at his raytrace and reading his comments on CN... I don't think he did. Maybe I missed him mentioning it, but it looks plano to me.
So Cassegrain yes maybe, but Schmidt no?

Edit: Have just re-read Rik's post, and yes he did! Wow!
