Anyone notice the sun is extremely quiet at the moment, I was looking it yesterday and saw no sunspots or blemishes. I find this strange. I'll post a picture when I can to show what I mean but its quiet.. very eeery
Yes I had a look yesterday, easily the quietest it has been all year.
Bit disappointing considering solar maximum is supposed to be early next year, but thats just part of the joy of astronomy!
