Buying Starlight Xpress accessories - learning patience

Has anyone tried to buy SX accessories lately? I have given up after waiting 9 weeks for a corousel I ordered in April through Dealer A - it arrived 9 weeks later; and more recently, another carousel ordered in early August from Dealer B and shipped yesterday from the UK, so I suppose another 10 days or so to get here. That will be roughly 9 weeks on both of those occasions for something incredibly simple - a filter wheel carousel after all is not a big item.

I feel sorry for their Australian dealers who have to field complaints from impatient people like me who struggle to understand why they have to accept this sort of service. But after recent experiences, I can say I have learnt to be a bit more patient. Perhaps I should thank SX for that.

On second thoughts, no, I don't think so. It's a pity they make such good gear otherwise it would be easy to give them a wide berth in future.

I'm hoping it doesn't take months to get a new shutter for my H-18, Peter, but it probably will...
