A tiny bit of activity from Sunday 19aug12 (2hour timelapse)

Hi all,
I turned my attention to the Sunspot that emitted an M class flare the day previous in hope that I may capture something, this was not the case. The dual timelapse did not work too well in this case, I can't seem to pick the right settings to stack the prominence images, I may have to resort to a single BMP image to get anywhere. Make sure you watch this in full screen mode, it really helps.

This should be the last time lapse with my tiny little PST, I received my 90mm ERF today so this should really help bring out the detail in my future timelapses.....fingers crossed.

Trent

Some technical probs need attention: interference rings, Etalon hot spot & dust motes.

Animation wise... Very cool.

I agree Peter,
I should be able to fix things up with the 90mm upgrade I received today in terms of hot spots and detail, the Newtonian rings however, are a real pain, and that bloody dust bunny was a nasty little surprise!

But thanks!

No problemo

and, ok, my response wasn't PC, but we won't improve our craft if *everything* is always said to be wonderful ....hence your mature response is appreciated.
