To continue the posting of photos of The Dish after the Malin Awards last weekend, here is one of my attempts. I thought I'd try something a little different by taking a close up of it at night. Most photos are wide shots taking in the stars and planets behind it, but I think the architecture and lighting of Dish are much better viewed with a tighter shot. I also like the red light arc due to the lens.
It's not framed perfectly as I took this in a little bit of a rush because Alex wanted his tripod back! Thanks for the use of it Alex! I shouldn't have forgotten mine....
