All very nice Peter, but the Spitfire shot IS A CRACKER.

Hi,

My favourite here is the Grumman TBF Avenger. It was an inspired design, despite being the heaviest single engine combat aircraft of WWII. It "flew like a truck", and one of the drivers was President George Bush Snr, who was shot down in this type. Another notable WWII veteran in the Avenger was Paul Newman.

It is also the aircraft type flown by the well known "Flight 19" in the Bermuda Triangle.

Can't believe it. I've just been offered a flight in an L-39 (last image) that is part-owned by a friend of mine on the Gold Coast. Can't wait to collect on the offer!

These are great,but the spitfire and orion are of an amazing standard,I like the orion best-would love to have a high res print of that framed and on the wall.

Well done on these amazing images!
