Better prices on Lunt in Australia?

Does anyone have better prices than Bintel on Lunt gear?

I do like dealing with Bintel, some of the prices are quite good, but the prices are a bit heavy on the LS80 compared to US pricing.

Are other dealers in Australia a bit more competitive?

A fair price on Lunt 80's would be $US list plus $285 (that's what they cost to ship UPS from the USA..the double boxing is stupidly large ), convert to $A (unless you are a bank, use the buy rate) and add 10% GST.

if the Bintel $A price is close to the above, it's fair....but there are other Lunt dealers in Oz

I know their price isn't a gouge or anything, but I have people that travel back from the US fairly regularly, so once you add the Feathertouch, it would end up costing me over a thousand dollars more to get it from them, even including paying for it to come over.

It puts it just outside my reach unfortunately.

I've had good service and prices from Sirius Optics in the past - give them a call, their web prices are often out of date.
