NGC 5139 - Omega Centauro

Two new photos. Both GSO 305 mm - Cannon 350 D

with balow ED 2x - 20 m 59 s - 42 frames - ISO 800

and no barlow - 16 m 59 s - 34 frames - ISO 800

Nice resolution Jorge. Colour is not quite right as the cluster has mainly old red giants. Your black point appears to be clipped too and that would be hiding fainter stars.

My suggestion is for you to try some of Ken Crawfords tutorials.

well told and well remembered, Paul. I will review the original, it might be by the digital treatment.

Can you post the link to Ken Crawfords tutorials ?

click on tutorials once you get there and then tutorials and presentations.

A week with a thin rain. Suddenly, a good seeing. But only two hours. After time lost with installation, I only got a single 10 sec iso 1800 shot before the rain fall again.
Despite of it, I got a more colored image.
