Possums gotta love 'em

In Melbourne possums are loved or loathed...well hated is the usual. So I'm able to report a good news story on the much maligned creature.
My back yard is surrounded by trees to the south and east.Posss began eating a liquid amber tree a fee months ago not a leaf was spared, over the summer the darlings have managed to kill the 20 year old tree. Now I'm not sad at all as this tree blockedy view of the celestial pole. Now I can see south and all the beauties that brings all I need is to get the possums to eat my neighbours gum tree to the east...not likely ... Then the railway stations lights! Matt

Hey Matt, if you can work out a way to put some fruit in your neighbours tree, guess who will take up residence in it and eat anything edible, leaves included

Matt, if you want more possums, I have 3 (I think) living in the walls of my house that you can have for free if you want them.

Thanks for the offer of free possums Think I'll pass as my walls already have a bees hive and somewhere a bunch of termites doing their thing too... though the termite people can't get them to eat the nice poison, or find what they have been eating. I strongly suspect my lounge rooms sub floor. Matt
