Observing the Sun

I am contemplating purchasing a solar filter from Bintel for my 10 " dob. his has been brought on by the upcoming Venus transit (my first with equipment to view it). Does anyone have any the views on the viewing of the sun with these devices, safe or not?? type of eyepiece etc. I would imagine quite a bit of heat will be in and around the telescope during this time. Thank you and regards
Tom Summers.

I can assure you, and all other users - that the Baader solar film if fitted correctly will give 200% safe views of the Sun.
Strongly recommended.
