Exclamation New visual evidence for spiral formation

Hi all,

Stunning new data showing spiral galaxy formation in local neighbourhood. Apparently driven by energy provided by a double PD (Pacific Duck) formation with spiralic behaviour see (top centre of picture). How the newly formed spiral gets into the sky from here is a matter of further study.... Will keep you posted.
