Rosette Nebula - GSO RC8

Hi all,
First one for 2012.
Rosette Nebula up close taken with the GSO RC8 + 0.67x Astrophysics reducer.

80 mins exposure (8x10 mins)
No Darks or Flats (lazy!)
HEQ5 Pro mount
Autoguided with Orion Mini Guider/QHY5 and PHD

Looks sharp and detailed but a little subdued from the version you showed me - curves?

The cluster of stars in the centre there are quite nice. As Trevor says, if you can get more colour out it would really add a kick to the image.

Nice nebulosity there too Doug!

Nice Doug. I can see a nice 4 panel mosaic comming to fitr all this in. The core is resolved beautifully.

Hey I missed this Doug, that's a really lovely shot, I think I like this field of view for this nebula actually, it's a bit too "round" when you try to take it all in
