G2V stars in the sourthern hem

Hi,

I'm looking for decent G2V stars in the southern hemisphere for biasing my color chanels. I've looked at some of the catalogues but there are thousands of numbers that confuse me.

What have you guys used for G2V stars here is Aus?

Cheers, Gus.

Hi Gus.....
There are some small ones around and hard to find one that is in the mag 3 area... I think I recall doing my last calibration with one around the mag4 mark.
I have an addin for 'The Sky6' that gave me heaps of G2V type stars for calibration.
I generally only do it once until something changes in the imaging train filters/ ccd/ correctors scopes..etc.

Here's the link for the Sky6....

Hope you find one that gives you enough saturation.. can be a little tedious

If you don't have TheSky6, here's a list of G2V stars in readable format:

Cheers,
