Terrigal IR and storm approaching

Hi all.

Went to Terrigal beach about 3 weeks ago with Jacob and Eliza, while Mum and Abbey had a nap at home.

Was a lovely sunny day, but an approaching storm put an end to the frollocking fun.

The first 3 shots are taken with the IR filter on.

I think I recognise my friend Terry Gull in the second set of shots.

Lovely pics Mike. I like the food available at Terrigal, but I reckon there are nicer swimming spots along the coast, then again, it is good to have a decent lifeguard presence, which you always have at Terrigal

Nice shots Mike, at least the kids had fun. The clouds look really spectacular, why didn't you put one of the IR cloud pics in the monthly challenge??

Thanks guys.

Phil, I considered entering one of those - just didn't know how it would be taken. IR photos are an acquired taste.

whats the circle in the centre of the IR photos? is your filter not screwed into the lens, if not it looks like reflection.

Nice set of pics but!

Weren't you told never to end your sentences in but!?

It's a smudge on the IR lens which is causing that brighter area in the centre. Thanks for noticing but!
