Moon - 06/09/11

Well, determined to get back into imaging I had a quick go at the moon last night.

Didn't polar align (tsk, tsk!) just pointed the scope at the moon and jiggled it around. At least all my cables are working including the the 15m focusser cable.

Next step is to properly align and run all the cables into the house - oh, and dog proof the mount from the enthusiastic labrador.

I think the focus is a bit soft but I'm happy enough to have gone "click" on something.

Oh, and without Photoshop here at work the best I could upload was this pretty tiny 11kb file

cheers
