Howdy all...
Just wondering if anyone has had experience using Baader Hyperions for astrophotography purposes??
I have been thinking of having a go snapping a few pics of the moon (i know i wont get any DSO's without tracking, which i dont have at the moment...still saving for the Servo-Cat

) and was after something a bit better than the crappy webcam camera ive got now, as well as the ability to use my lower FL eyepieces to get detailed shots of specific areas, craters, etc. So a couple of quick questions:
Ive heard they can be directly mounted to some camera bodies, does anyone know which ones (brands, thread types)??
Is there any specific camera functions, settings and abilities i should look for when reading reviews??
Would it be easier just to buy a decent planetary imager and barlows then learn to photoshop the detail im after??? (i like the idea of being able to use the DSLR for daylight terrestrial stuff, star trails and wide angle milky way shots using a barn door mount, but the main purpose would be moon shots and eventually DSO's)
If anyone
has used a Hyperion for photos, could you post an example??
Any help very much appreciated.
