Rho Ophiuchi Nebulae Complex

Hi,

I managed to borrow a Canon 70-200mm F4 L lens for Astrofest but got clouded out on the last night. This was taken on Sunday night with an unmodified Canon 400d and 70-200 set about 100mm and f4.5 ISO 800. I took 5 minute subs for a total of 3 hours and 10 minutes with darks, Bias frames but omitted the flats as I couldn't get it. Anyway here is my effort for my first shot of this object. Guided with a W/O Flt 110.

Any feedback would be very welcome.

Mark

Looks pretty good. Tried this with my DSLR and 300mm last year. I like this field better.

Great detail and colour Mark.

Wide fields with DSLRs are such an expanding field of astrophotgraphy.

Thanks.

Ross.
