Problems with downloaded MHTML pages

I am having problems with downloaded MHTML pages. I have downloaded pages concerning Synscan Dobs from the Skywatcher website. After placing them in an appropriate folder I find I cannot view them using EI9 or Firefox. I even downloaded them using Firefox but the results are the same. I have had no problems with other websites. The message on EI9 indicates that there is missing software but I cannot find it. Weird.
Has anyone had the the same experience?

Cheers
Nev
P.S. I hope this thread is in the correct spot.

Have you saved the pages as a "Web page complete"?

I tried to save some of the skywatcher pages and also had bother. They saved as *.mht but I could not open them. Like you I have not had any bother with other .mht files

I then selected all the content of the page with the mouse and copied it into MSword 2000.

It copied there as a html type file. I then saved it as a htm.

I then opened the new.htm by clicking on it and it opened perfectly.
Odd!
