Tasco Newtonian

I have been asked to pass on one (as new) 4.5 inch F/900 Tasco Newt. 1977 model 11TS-5 (without tripod) by a MR Reid of Castle Hill. The scope was his son's first telescope. It is intended to go to a young person already into astronomy.
The scope comes in its original cardboard box. App. 1m by 0.5 by 0.5
Postage would cost you around $20.00 or pick up Castle Hill, Sydney

Tasco Newt.

Re above Tasco.
Rather than looking for a suitable tripod for the scope I suggest someone make up a
Dobson turntable thereby taking the scope off my hands.
I have no space for it in my garage. P l e a s e !

Tripod is stored on the under side of the polystyrene. Lift the poly carton out of the cardboard box and turn it over.

These ones are Japanese optics. I sold one 2 yrs ago on eBay

Has it gone yet?

I already have a dob mount for this size that I made for my grandkids. The scope on this mount was found on a chuckout and is only just good enough for the moon.

I'll join the waiting list.
