5 Celestial bodies.
Went down the beach to photograph the planets on a beautiful North Queensland morning.
Alas, the planets are drifting apart, and Mercury will soon will be lost below the horizon.
Venus was blazing red when it rose, and at first thought it was a plane!! Temperature was a ..... fresh 14 dg.

Thankyou Warren and Mike.
You guys do so well, packing up your gear and heading off to a spot to take pics, while I just head out in my jamies.

I love the last 2 Liz! We had 100% cloud and rain earlier this morning. I'm hoping it will be clear tomorrow...
Cheers,
Stephen

Here is another pic with a faint M31 (Andromeda Galaxy) .... I can usually get it brighter than that, but the Moon was too bright still.

LOL Yeah, it hurt my eyes so much, I thought I'd share the joy.
Oh, I see it, just a wee m31. I wonder if it's possible to make out M33 as well?

@Liz - lovely.
Glimpsed Moon, Jupiter and Venus through fog this morning - Mars and Mercury unviewable, unfortunately.
@jjj - ouch for my eyes!
Feel free to share briefly
@erick - your avatar is sweet!

Cheers Ray and Eric.
Yes, your avatar is real pretty eric, showing you feminine side.
Actually reminds me a little of the Dr Who episode with those naughty stone angels.

Very nice Liz. If I had a view like that i'd be more likely to get up in the morning.
