Celestron 6SE and Canon 7D

Hi All,

I have a friend that has a Celestron 6SE Telescope and a Canon 7D, he asked me what can be done with that configuration. I'm not very good with telescopes so I would like to know if you give me some help.

My initial guess is: good for planetary, needs T-ring adapter for the camera and a T-adapter for the telescope (which one?).
DSOs or piggybacking not good because the mount is not equatorial?
