IC4628 and NGC6231

The Sun was coming up and I didn't have much time to grab too much. 10 Mins total of an area around Scorpius' tail, including nebula IC 4628. Sometimes called the "prawn Nebula". Also visible is NGC 6231 (cluster on right) between Zeta and Mu Scorpii . I really want to come back and visit this one with more time. Hope i'm not wasting anyones tiime by posting this.

ED80, Canon DSLR 10 Mins total Iso 400.

all the best

Paul

Agree with Marc.

Masterpieces are not always required, quickies are good to grab sometimes

Thanks guys

Your right better to take pictures and have some fun than to gather cobwebs waiting for perfect weather/seeing/equipment. Plenty of time to take those masterpieces! What I am trying to do is capture interesting pics with nice framing and balance I will work hard on the technical stuff as I gain more experience.

All the best

Paul
