Stopping a slew

Is there anything available to stop a slew no matter how it was initiated? I only initiate slews from my computer but use a few programs that may initiate one. What I would like is a single way to stop a slew as an emergency stop. A single punch on the keyboard would be ideal. Is there anything in EQMOD that would do this?

Short of a better answer, in an emergency you can't beat pulling the power.
In programs like TheSky, there is a Cancel Slew command. Not sure about EQMOD, or for that matter what I use, CdC.

I would prefer not to pull the plug if possible. Also I want an idiot proof way due to using more than one program to slew with. I don't think there is one that I use that doesn't have a spot button but I would like a big red emergency stop button just short of pulling the plug..

just hit escape on your hand paddle should do it even if you are slewing using a computer. If you cant reach the HP look to getting a longer cable. They are easy enough to make up. This coming from someone that doesn't know the first thing about electronics A good long cable on your hand paddle is invaluable.

EQMOD has a nice big stop button you can click on, but yes you can also configure a button or control on a wireless game pad to issue a STOP command.

I always like to be near my PC for the first few slews of the night what with all the cords I've accumulated on my gear now.
