from "BoingBoing.net"

Hi Doug,

Thanks for the heads-up.

On Saturday, there was the publication in Science about oxygen being directly
measured in the atmosphere of Saturn's moon, Rhea, as Cassini scooped it up
at an altitude of 97km above the surface. This was the first time a spacecraft
had captured molecules of oxygen on a world other than Earth.
See http://www.smh.com.au/technology/sci...126-18alk.html
See

Given how cold it is on Rhea, the chances of life there seem remote.

Cassini also dipped into Titan's atmosphere this past June -
See http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/news/cass...ature20100706/
and Huygens also landed on Titan nearly 6 years ago.

Whatever it may be, we look forward to hearing the announcement.
