Meade DSI Pro Mono

I have been trying to get some sense out of my Meade DSI Pro Mono camera now for awhile but cant. So I now ask for help.

I bought this device about 12 months or so back and it came with the proprietry software from Meade (AutoStar Suite). The problem I am having is the software is so unstable I gave up trying to get it to work about 9 months ago. I use either Vista or Win7 OS going back to XP isnt an option at this time.

I have updated the software to the latest on Meades website (Autostar 5.5)with no luck all I get is an error message stating......

"Firmware command was rejected"

Go back to the original software that came with the camera it is so unstable it wont run for any length of time. So I have given up trying to use the camera for anything other than a guide camera under PHD.

Does anyone here know if there is other software I can use to take control of this camera? I dont want to leave this thing in the cupboard or leave it as a guide camera as I bought a 900NC for that.

I downloaded Nebulosity and you were right it does work and easy to use. I have it installed on my laptop connected the DSI and Nebulosity has been taking pix now for about an hour or so with no problems, Exept I run out of drive. I will setup my 1.5 Tb drive as the storage medium.
I will register it tomorrow and only $60.
