Quality equipment cases.....link

A company I deal with here in Melb has some high quality equipment cases (and other things) on special.
I had a look at these (fully sealed, purge valve) and they are great!
I will get a couple my self.

No Geoff, a family owned private biz, I have been dealing with Tony and the boys for near 20 years. (I have no involvement/interest in Rockby electronics).

Geez they look like Pelican clones some of those cases, pity only 190MM deep, would be nice to get one that houses an SCT.

Hi Guys,

Saw this the other day, thought it was a very good price and maybe this suits what you need? Not sure of the depth but for $60 I was going to buy one simply so I can cram all my gear in it and wheel it around..
What do you think? http://www.astronomyalive.com.au/ast...mera-case.html

Cheers

Chris

I have a good supplier of "Pelican LIKE" cases.
I have one ATM which I use for EP's & small things. I was going to get a couple of others.
My supplier also makes cases big enough for OTA's & GO-TO mounts etc.

All cases come with "pluck" foam which fills the case 100%.

My supplier is in China & i will have a shipment of other things coming over soon.
If I have enough interest I'm happy to get pricing & ship orders with my load coming soon.

Bryan,

I'd love pricing for a case that can accommodate a G-11 head with the motors attached. At the moment I'm using a JayCar roadie case. Whilst it fits the G-11 head, I have to remove the motors each time . Such a PITA.

Here's a general photo copied from my supplier's web site.

The problem is that they are a bulk manufacturer. They won't sell just 5 or 10 cases.
The minimum order qty will most likly be 300 or 400 cases.

I'm just emailing back & forth now with my guy in China. Will find out what I can.

Looks great...Group buy if you can get them down to 50 cases?

Problem is not everyone wants the same case. That said, some cases..one size fits all!
