Lagoon (Pink Panther)

I was inspired by Paul's original rendition of Lagoon with a pinkish/purple Hue that just glowed almost neon on my screen a few weeks back. So i went hell for leather in the processing department to come up with this somewhat replica version, not as good as Paul's but practice makes perfect.

Definately different Shane. Thats whats good about this hobby - it is whatever tickles your eyes makes it personal taste. Its like music - I play classical guitar and I am sure I dont play Bachs lute suite the same way he did.

It really looks like aSpanish Dancer - one of those marine inverterbrates - nice interpretation

That's very nice. Love the colors. Mix of blues and reds, pinks. The whole range is there. Very cool.

Thanks guys, yeah i tried to bring out the core a little more but it introduced too much noise, so i liked to keep the overall image smoother.

It was taken with a 12" Newt so my data was a bit on the "half good half bad" department, with a couple of hours of Data i only ended up with 20mins of usable data. That's the trade off for overloading your mount with such a ridiculously big scope, but hey it still works most of the time.

Shane
