I have a solid tube 10" F5 Guan Sheng DOB, purchased from andrews late 2009 so this one has knobs for adjusting the primary as standard. The tube has been modified for astrophotography and had 25mm shaved off the end of the tube to allow for camera focus. It is the standard dob with an R&P focuser.
Eyepieces will require a 35mm extention tube to achieve focus and this is now included.
It comes with 9mm and 25mm GSO eyepieces, a standard white GSO straight through finder and mount, plus the dob base. All of these are still unopened and boxed. The base is still flat packed and sealed, it has never been assembled.
The primary has a couple of spots on one edge where the coating is missing. It was like this from new. It never caused a problem with anything I used the scope for and I think I have captured an image of it.
I have since purchased a 10" F3.8 scope so this one is redundant.
I also have a set of rings with a vixen bar for this scope not being sold seperately at this stage. Add $50.
Hi Tandum
This is indead a good price. I might be interested. Just a quest for you. I take it that have had this on something like an EQ6 mount. How did you have it configured - guidescope etc? How did the weight go on the mount?
Thanks
Darrell
