Value of a GSO 16" F4.5 Mirror ?

I'm upgrading the mirror in my DOB and will be looking to sell the 16" F4.5 primary I have when the shipping box with the new mirror arrives etc. The thing is I don't really have a good idea what it's worth... One mirror maker I spoke to said they thought about $1000 ?

I'm not looking to rip anyone off, I just want to get a fair price for it, and see someone else building themselves up a nice scope.

Andrews Communications in Sydney can import them so you could call and ask for the new purchase price to get an idea.
