Would you be that dumb???
Seriously how stupid do you have to be to fall for a nigerians scam??
Theres never been one that didnt look like it was thought up by a kid but idiots still keep falling for them.
Is it more greed than dumbness?

One of my favourite web sites, which I've posted here on a number of occasions:

www.419eater.com

Warning: be prepared to have a sore gut from laughing.

It's that old saying with scams

"If it's too good to be true, then it is"

I think its some people are always happy to take a large risk in the belief that it will all be good in the end .

That large bankruptcy (70 B ) ? in the states was a fair example in that there was a lot of history in regard to the possibility the whole thing was a sham to the point of people putting just that premise to regulatory body .. but still no action or even scrutiny until it fell in a heap .

Dubious investment schemes, think that one in QLD that all the people did there money on , people will always take a risk when they likely shouldn't .. maybe the nigerian scams arn't to removed from how people consider risk as we would like to think ??

I saw yesterday that a guy in Nigeria has been sentenced to 19 years for scamming. Apparently they have a special task force now to investigate such frauds, I expect they would be very busy.

Unfortunately, some people should never be granted access to the internet

You guys are far too cynical. As soon as my new, extraordinarily attractive Russian girlfriend arrives with the airfare I sent her, we're gonna split this place with the unclaimed inheritance that's on its way from Hong Kong.

This poor girl who contacted me was asking me to help her get this large box of gold from her uncle who refuses to give it to her although she is entitled to it. She even offered me half the value when we cashed it in. She sounds such a nice kid - said also that her husband has left her and she is all alone....
Well, I just had to help out didn't I?? I replied to her saying could she please send me over an air ticket so I could come over and help her get her inheritance.
Funny thing though... I havent heard back from her for some time now.....
