I'm getting ready to take delivery of a Mathis mount this month.

I have been trawling the net for users of Mathis Instruments mounts, advising them that I have started a Mathis Mount Users Group at YahooGroups:

Nice mount! Keep us updated with how it runs and pics pics pics..

I'll take one of those GEM 1000 any day. Just got to work out how to attach it to a field tripod.. You reckon aluminum will do??
