Pictures in Sigs ?

Howdy

How about being allowed to link to a small image as a sig? if it was kept small, and linked to a photobucket or flickr image or something, then it shouldnt affect here too much, and it would help to brighten the place up?

just a thought

They're disabled for 2 reasons:

1. To reduce page load times, because people often link to off-site large images in their sigs
2. To reduce the clutter and put the emphasis on the post content, not huge blocks of signatures.

Cheers

Thanks Duncan.

Nothing I dislike more than seeing sigs that are 10+ lines long or have large flashing graphics etc

I remember the days when nobody had a sig, until that darn Robbery Beck fella invented the real estate section at the bottom, much to Ponders delight.
