Short Jupiter/Io animation

From the data I collected on 24/08/09
Only 4 frames.

A little crude. My hat goes off to those who make longer, smoother animations. There's a lot of work involved, capturing, processing, combining etc.

For anyone interested I created that gif at this website. Very simple. Site seems clean, no spyware or other nasties.

cheers

Mark

Well done Mark,

Nice data and I bet this has wetted your appetite to capture even more data to make a longer one.

An animation really does seem to bring static images to live and that is the case with this effort of yours.

Top stuff
Regards
Trevor

Very nice indeed - the animation makes Io and the shadow look really 3D.
