Hi $username.
This email is to give you an update of some recent activity at the IceInSpace Forums.
We've just passed the 500 member mark, and a few weeks ago we passed the 50,000 post mark! It's a great achievement and I congratulate the community on making this the biggest and most active astronomy forums downunder!
A couple of threads of interest, that you may wish to participate in:
- IceInSpace is organising a bulk order of the must-have amateur astronomer almanac, "Astronomy 2006" by Quasar Publishing. The cost will be $23 posted to your door. To register your interest in receiving a copy through IceInSpace, please visit the following thread
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ead.php?t=3904 and vote so that I can order enough books. Once the order has been placed, a new thread will contain details of how to pay and how to contact me with your address details so it can be posted to you. The books will be available in November so BE QUICK!
- If you'd like an IceInSpace engraved red-light pen, so you can see while taking notes out at your telescope, then register your interest in this thread:
http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...ead.php?t=4728. The cost will be about $10 posted. If there's enough interest, I'll get a run done.
- If you'd like an IceInSpace embroidered polo-shirt, then register your interest in this thread:
