K3CCD V1 Key update

Has anyone else had a problem downloading a new key for V1? The website says present key expires 15 Jul 09 and that a new key will be relased in "July 2009".

When I download the key and paste it, it says key is expired. Is it me or the site?

FWIW Mike I did notice this too Saturday night.
I have a reg ver 3 on one PC and ver 1 Lite on another which
needed an updated key....same problem.

I'm sure Pete K will get messaged soon about it.

Since I rely on this software for planetary imaging, and there is a good chance I will set up tonight, does anyone have any suggestions for good alternative software to use to capture from my Toucam with?

wxAstrocapture works with my SP900NC, in AVI mode. It's free and it's reliable for use as a backup program.

Thanks for the tip on wxAstrocapture Mike, looks like a great program, with a really nice histogram feature

I used wxAstrocapturelast night. Great program! The only feature I missed was a timed capture, so I had to manually stop each capture after I started it, apart from that I found it to probably be better than K3CCD. It was certainly more stable than K3CCD on my system, which would sometimes lose the video image on my screen while I was capturing. I'll probably stick with wxAstrocapturefrom now!
