Re: rain & floods in South Qld

Knowing that drought breaking weather can usually explained by a telescope purchase, so, who bought the obviously large new scope?

Hey People,

Er, aah, I din't 'fess up earlier. I made a little purchase. Just a smallish one.

Six eye pieces.

It seems the weather gods targetted here more so than other areas.
We had 396mm of rain. The backyard (2 acres) is still a little waterlogged.

So I've served my penance.

Cheers Marty

Guys just stop shipping them up or down the pacific highway
Some of the weather decides to stay from all these combined purchases

rear boundary 18 kms from coast directly faceing incomeing weather cell most all large gums have lost all large limbs around the 20" mark .. got to be a few hundred tons of timber down just in these alone.. not to mention the other 150 acres of assorted mess to sift through .. least I don't have to straighten the road signs or power poles

You might have to change hobbies for a while and take up wood turning. It'd be a shame to waste all that good timber.
