Jupiter 23/05/09

Captured these various images from about 4.00am est this morning. Toucam through an 8 inch Newt, mounted on a EQ 6 Pro. 3 with a GSO 2 x Barlow, the other two without trying to fit the other moons.

Believe I caught the last of Io passing in front of the planet!

They came out pretty good Darren, image #4 with Io on the limb is a beauty.

Tried myself a couple of hours earlier for the shadow at the start of passage.
Low in the sky & low over the roof of the house...like watching a desert mirage.
