Short Shop Review

Yesterday l had the pleasure of meeting Roger Davis the owner of Binocular and Telescope Service Centre in Heidelberg Melbourne, l was there to drop of my 12" Meade to have it cleaned, collimated and generally checked over, l will mention all this for $145.00.
While there l wanted to ask his opinion on a range of subjects inc, ep's, astrophotography set-ups and processing.
The friendly atmosphere and time he devoted to answering my questions was very much appreciated and will certainly put him as the first port of call for future purchases and words of advise, his range of accessories l am sure would suit the needs of a lot of our kind in the Melbourne area, l have no other relation with Roger as a reason to do this little piece just a wish to give credit where it is due.

Mick,

I make a point of catching up with Roger every time he drives north to the South Pacific Star Party here in NSW. He is very well regarded among the amateur community.

To add my 2 bobs worth, Roger has some nice economical Russian TAL eyepieces available along with an impressive ultra-wide 2-inch. Plus, he has stocks of a very nice TAL finderscope for serious deepsky hunters. Like most Russian built gear, it's very solid in construction and made to last.
