How predictable

Well it's the long weekend and for the first time in ages I've some spare time to set up and do a bit of imaging.

Right on cue the clouds have arrived along with some rain and I don't think it will get much better for the rest of the weekend.

All quite predictable really but I remain optimistic of a break in the clouds as there are a few blue patches to tease me.

Hi Ric would you believe we had fog! I,m still thinking about it.

Ive got the antares grazing occulation tonight ....i,m sure the clouds will dissapear.

if it were the other way around- a long weekend , no moon and cloud and rain free? that would be a surprise

It's looking a lot better today, definitely a lot more blue stuff showing through.

I'll reserve the optimism for a few more hours yet and see how it goes.
