2009 Astronomy Events Calendar available for download

Hi all,

The following may be of interest to people who don't plan to get Astronomy 2009(!) or who want something to pass on to their childs teacher at primary/high school.

I have put together a calendar which covers major predictable astronomy events visible from Eastern Australia in 2009. It is available on my website in a couple of different formats (included a 12 page Adobe Acrobat file - one month to a page). Go to www.paulfloyd.id.au if you are interested.

It is a draft at this stage. I will be adding a few more things like transit times/dates for the Great Red Spot on Jupiter and hopefully the visibility of a bright new comet in 2009 (which of course has yet to be discovered...).

Regards,

Paul Floyd.
