Smile Just got a Book

My brother just got back from the shops a few minutes ago and he had a Dymocks bag with a book in it. The "Atlas of the Universe" by MacMillan.

Needless to say I wasn't expecting that, but I was very appreciative

Had a quick glance through it....looks like a good book!!!!. Another astronomy book to add to the collection

I had a heap of books at one stage....when we moved house we put them in a storage shed, along with a lot of other stuff. They ended up being stolen. $5000 worth. The buggers that owned the sheds, who were supposed to have had them covered in insurance ended up shooting through. Personally, I think it was an inside job.

Over 30 years of buying books...I had an original edition of the "Field Guide to the Stars and Planets", edited by Prof. Donald Menzel, books by Patrick Moore, all my textbooks from my uni days, IT textbooks, heaps of others.

I was pissed, and that was only the start of it. If I counted how much I lost in software and such...and not only me. Too much.
