Have you named your scope?

I was wondering if any of you have given nicknames to your scopes?

I've called my 12" SCT - Principia

(My family calls it 'The Cannon')

I havn't named my 80mm ED yet....

This thread has been done before but it would be good to hear from all the newer members that weren't here last time.

I don't give mine a name but the others kinda talked me into using 'Snoopy'.

Personally I just call it 'The Scope'.

Don't apologise Andrew, we had only half of the current membership back then!

Snoopy? I still have never used the name! LOL. I just say "I'm getting 'the scope' out", or "wanna look through 'the scope'" to my family.

Going by my signature it's a wonder I don't call it my 'Astro Bazooka'.

I haven't but SWMBO frequently refers to it as "that big ugly thing"..

Mine has not got an official name - usually referred to as "the scope" but it gets called all sorts of things when one of us kick our toe on the base plate when its on the deck
