Anybody Try These 20x80 Meade Binocs Before?

Just wanted to know if anybody has tried out these 20x80 meade binocs before. They look fairly old, but in great shape and I am about to purchase them.
Is the eye relief good? how is the overall performance? how is the weight?..you all know what kind of info I am seeking... if anybody can help me here , I would know a little more about these...thanks!!!

if you wear glasses you might need to think about it as the eye relief is not great (4mm) but if you don't that shouldn't be a problem. you will need a tripod and bracket as they do become difficult to hold (heavy) over a short period of time. if they are too old they might not have had the lenses coated. but hey if the price is write then enjoy them!

Hi Mark,
You probably already know this, but check for mould and fungus in the lenses.
my method is to hold the eyepieces towards a light source, and look through each objective, sometimes you have to move them around a bit,but you should see if there are any marks that wont come off by cleaning the lenses or eyepieces, that means the marks are inside.
