This little Maksutov-Cassegrain is a lightweight and compact telescope that may suit a beginner, or as a cheap and very portable back-up, or for parts (eg. as finderscope), or a project. Its functional but not in perfect condition and is incomplete (eg. tray missing from mount), so I will only sell to a Perth buyer who has inspected before purchase and knows what they are getting.

Sorry to hear of your experience, and sorry I am not in Perth as I would otherwise have a look. Did you try to lay the seller by the heels using eBay mechanisms, or was it not worth the hassle?
