modified 350d

i have on loan a h-alpha modded 350d with a baader filter fitted , just need to know should i be using an infra red blocking filter when i use the camera?

Nope. The whole idea is to let through more of the spectrum. Have fun, you should get some nice data with the modded camera

hmm bit confused now , i did a test shot the other night but the image was nearly bright red in colour so i was assuming that it was pulling to much of the infra red wavelength through thats why i was referring to an ir/uv blocking filter so i can record more h-alpha.
god this imaging lark drives you nuts sometimes
