Pre-eclipse Lunar mosaic – found 5th pane!

Hello,

I found a 5th pane for the 4 pane lunar mosaic captured on Monday, the night before the recent total lunar eclipse. I thought that the seeing was better than the mosaic actually turned out to indicate, but it seems not as Registax was struggling to select and stack between more than 48 to 239 frames from 2400 frame AVI’s.

WARNING: 2000 pixels wide…

Tak Mewlon 180 with Vixen x2 Barlow and DMK 21AF04.AS ccd camera.

Cheers

Dennis

Crikey Dennis, I love the work you do. Fantastic contrast and lighting. You have capture the ejecta rays on that right hand crater beautifully.

Thanks guys. With the Mewlon 180 and DMK I can't really go far wrong, especially with something as bright as the Moon, which even I can find without the need for GoTo!

Cheers
