It looks like a great night up my way, new moon, and hopefully no fireworks tonight. Pulled the 150ED out to the observatory and set but up visually. I sold my ASI camera early this year so visual only tonight. I still have my Nikon if I get the itch.
Had high hopes for a pleasant night under the stars and catching the double transit on Jupiter but as usual, the local seeing was diabolical with warm northerly winds, never a good sign and cloud coming in off the ocean. Gave up about midnight, packed up the gear and got a good nights sleep instead.
