I purchase the Astronomy Australia book every year with my membership renewal at ASNSW. It gets posted right out and has so much information it's well worth the money. I believe it is available for purchase from other sources.
I don't think they list stargazing events though but that should be relatively easy information to find online.
In saying that I have to see if I can subscribe the the meteorological society booklet too so I know what the damn weather is going to be like.
Just west of the Blue mountains I know it's going to be overcast or miserable much of the time......Whenever there's anything important worth observing anyway.
For me, the celestial event I'm looking forward to most in the coming year is the comet Tsuchinshan which is predicted to be quite spectacular around Oct 2024.
