A Collage of 2022 Images

Astrophotography 2022
--------------------------

I decided to put together a collage of my published images for the calendar year 2022. A good way to look back on the year that was.

A very satisfactory result I'm thinking given the amount of rain and cloudy nights we've had on the east coast of Oz for 2022. It does help having two separate imaging systems with my QSI683 Camera/TSA120 OTA combination giving a medium field of view (1.5d x 1.0d) and the ASI6200 Camera/Canon 200mm lens combination giving a wide field of view (10d x 7d). Having both systems running simultaneously on a clear night is a real bonus.

A happy and productive New Year to everyone.

The collage can be viewed at high res by following this link to here to my Astrobin site.

Clear skies everyone and a happy and productive 2023.

Rodney

I really colorful collection of images Rodney - well done. You could make your own calendar out of these. Cheers John W.

Rodney,
Some fine images there during 2022
Let’s hope more clear nights during 2023
Thanks for posting
On another note , I just signed up with Astrobin and posted my first image without any details ( to use their auto template to include all relevant details is painfully slow and doesn’t like customised equipment info etc…
So I just want to know how I can just use the Description section each time I post to include some basic details like you did on this image collage

Thanks
Martin

Thanks Martin and good to see that you’ve made the plunge and kicked off an Astrobin account. As for using the Description field to record basic details, I do see a lot of Astrobin posts that do just that. The first page that opens when you upload a new image gives the opportunity to enter text into the Description field. If the image has already been posted you can edit the Description field by clicking on the “Edit” drop down menu and selecting “Basic Information”.

Thanks Mike. It was good to do a snapshot and reflect on the year that was. The RHO Ophiuchus was definitely a colourful stand out.
