Perseverance Rover Deposits First Sample

Perseverance Rover has finally deposited its first sample of Martian rock to be returned to Earth.

The rover will collect and drop off nine more samples over the next two months.

Being as the samples are not scheduled to be brought back until 2031, I am
regretfully, unlikely to survive to see what the samples reveal.
